There are numerous different brands and sizes of padlocks sold world wide but only a few higher quality padlocks can be customised to remove the shackle.

In 2003 when we were designing the steel shroud the main criteria for the padlock we required was

the padlocks shackle must be capable of being customised allowing our Locksmith to completely remove the padlocks shackle allowing the whole padlock to fit inside the steel shroud as seen in the following picture
