In 2003 when we were designing the steel shroud the main criteria for the padlock we required was
- the padlocks shackle must be capable of being customised allowing our Locksmith to completely remove the padlocks shackle allowing the whole padlock to fit inside the steel shroud as seen in the picture below
- the internals of the padlock must withstand dusty and damp conditions and must not rust even when using it near sea water
